International Seminar on Green, Intelligent and Active Packaging Standardization Successfully Held in Jinan

        Mr. Guo Zhenmei, the director of China Packaging Research Institute (CPRI), and Mr. Deng Xiaobo, the vice president of Shandong Provincial Quality Inspection Institute (SPQI), participated in the meeting and made a speech.

   In this seminar, China Packaging Research Institute and Shandong Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute awarded honorary green packaging consultant certificates to the invited experts from Australia, South Korea and the United Kingdom, who introduced the evaluation requirements of China's green packaging, the latest achievements and development trend of intelligent packaging and active packaging, as well as the process of standardization work. During the exchange seminar, CPPI had warm discussions and exchanges with packaging experts from Australia, South Korea, Britain, the United States and Germany on China's green packaging evaluation and international standardization work, the technological development of global intelligent packaging and active packaging and application experience, which opened up a new way of thinking and provided a new direction for the subsequent development of international standardization work.

   This seminar is very forward-looking and instructive, laying a solid foundation for China to lead the international standard of green packaging evaluation and domestic standardization of intelligent and active packaging. CPPRI will perform the duties of ISO domestic technical counterpart more comprehensively and solidly, give full play to the advantages of international platform and resources, accurately grasp the characteristics of the times and the opportunities and challenges of the internationalization of standards, and gather the strengths of all parties to steadily promote the internationalization of standards.
